Hello there!

Thank you for stopping by! I can’t wait to get to know you and your family’s story and I so much appreciate that you care to get to know the lady behind the lens so here’s a sneak peak…

I hail from the beautiful state of Virginia, but moved to the Chicagoland area shortly after marrying my wonderful husband back in 2009. I still love that view of the Blue Ridge Mountains on our treks back towards the east coast, but I’ve always been struck by the sunsets here in the midwest — golden light at its finest!

Things that spark joy for me are sitting down to pray with a fresh cup of coffee in the early morning, dancing with my husband in the kitchen during the crazy dinner hour just for laughs, going on little outdoor adventures with my kiddos, and drinking wine in good company around a crackling camp-fire.

I’ve got four wild and amazing kiddos this side of heaven (three already there!) who inspire me to be better, live with intention, and to seek beauty in the day-to-day.

My family means the world to me and there are so many sacred moments that I just want to bottle up and savor. I try to jot down all the funny and special things in a notebook, but mostly I create photographs to pass down as heirlooms.

I love doing that for other families too and I’m in it for the memories, ya’ll! I believe that every single person is wonderfully and uniquely made, and it is truly an honor to have been invited into the tender and joy-filled moments of the clients I've photographed. My goal is and always will be to create images that move the heart - those ones that capture raw emotion and time-travel you back to a specific moment or season of life. Family life is beautiful and it deserves to be beautifully captured!
